Fishery Restoration Hatchery Design
Aquaculture Bioengineering Corp has been an active team member in numerous State, Federal and Tribal hatchery renovation/construction projects. These are typical large undertakings involving 2 or more engineering firms and several contractors. System designs have included flow-through, RAS and partial reuse aquaculture systems (PRAS) with annual productions exceeding millions of fish. Recent projects include design reviews for new hatcheries for the State of Alaska.

ABC has taken leading roles in commercial aquaculture facility design, renovation and development since it was first established. These have included flow-through and RAS systems ranging from 20,000 – 125,000 lbs trout and up to 1.2 million lb facilities for cool/warm water species. Projects have included site visits and production recommendations, design concepts, conceptual designs, contract engineering designs, cost estimates and business plans.
Commercial and Recreational Ponds
ABC is actively in the process of expanding our pond management program. Previous projects have included design and development of recreational fish ponds, fee fishing and holding ponds.
